2. What is the best time of year to go to the Madagascar?

They are around all year; however the best time has to be during of January – March (also best time for flowering Baobabs).

3. Do I need a visa to travel to the Madagascar?
To visit the Madagascar, you’ll need a visa. Important: It is essential that your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the end of your stay in Madagascar.
For stays of less than two months, an entry and stay visa is required. Obtaining a tourist visa is very simple and can be done directly at the airport upon your arrival.
Upon disembarking the plane, you will pass through the “Foreign Passport, Non-Resident” lane. You must have your valid passport, your electronic ticket, a return or onward flight ticket (with the presentation of the ticket and visa for the following country).
You will pay the visa fee at the airport counter. Once you have obtained the disembarkation authorization, you will proceed to the border control counter, where they will issue your secure visa sticker.

Short Stay Visa (non-convertible):

-31 to 60 days : €23
-61 to 90 days : €32
Convertible into a Long Stay Visa: €32
